AS if it's not bad enough that millions of British farm animals suffer and are slaughtered, now restaurants want to extend the suffering to Kangaroos, Bison and Ostriches.
Kangaroo hunters kill indiscriminately, mothers being shot and their babies wrenched from their pouches or left to starve. I have visited a commercial ostrich farm and seen these magnificent creatures kept crowded together in tiny grassless paddocks.
Come on restaurants ask your chefs to cook cruelty-free and serve up some exciting vegan meals instead.
