A TALK on the current world troubles, "Things ain't what they used to be", takes place on Thursday (November 1). Doug Barnett, an ex-serviceman with a special interest in the Middle East, will be the speaker. It is being organised by Upton Christian Viewpoint and takes place in the Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Light refreshments will be served.
