CHRISTMAS fayre poster competition, a prize of £10 is being offered for the best bright, lively poster to advertise this year's fayre. Posters should be on A4 paper and include the following information - Bosbury christmas fayre in Bosbury Parish Hall, Saturday, November 24, 10am-noon. Entries must be handed in to Bosbury Post Office by November 1 for judging. The £10 prize will be presented at the fayre. Please put your name, age and telephone number on the back of your entry.
The next parish council meeting is on Thursday, November 1 at 7.30pm in the parish hall. The full agenda is posted on the village notice board.
Film fans will want to book the date now for the screening of the recently released film Chocolat showing on Friday, November 9 at 7.30pm in the parish hall.
Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury, Sunday at 6.30pm, Evensong. Sunday, November 4 at 11am, morning prayer and baptism. The annual All Souls service will be at Ashperton at 3pm.
