AN appeal featured in the Redditch Advertiser to raise £2,000 for some new chairs for the revamped Wythall Village Hall resulted in a feast of free furniture being offered.
It was hoped a bazaar held at the Alcester Road venue earlier this month would boost the appeal - until a call came from a Wythall resident who teaches at an Edgbaston school.
