A BROMSGROVE construction company is enjoying big business success.
Weaver PLC, based in Worcester Road, has reported a top performance for the first half of 2001, having secured new contracts worth more than £20m.
The firm's latest success is a £600,000 deal to undertake extensive refurbishment of wards at Sandwell General Hospital, in the Black Country.
A Weaver spokesman said: "We're delighted with the level of contracts won this year which track the buoyant mood in the construction sector."
The firm, established in 1865, has a turnover in excess of £35m and employs around 150 staff.
