DROITWICH Spa Cricket Club held their annual dinner-dance and presentation evening when awards were presented to their leading performers during the season.
They were: Mike Gunston (1sts), Neil Williams (2nds), Phil Darlison (3rds). Mike Rogers and Peter Gunston were awarded the under-21 and under-16 Player of the Year trophies respectively.
Both the Saturday 1st and 2nd teams can reflect on a successful season, which saw them finish 3rd and 4th in their respective divisions.
The firsts were inspired by South African batsman Wesley Euley, whose arrival in July, kick-started Spa's season. He finished with an average of over 100 and was well supported by Ian Duggan and Geoff Ford with the bat and award-winning bowlers, Mike Gunston and Mike Rogers.
