A PLAY area for toddlers and an 'open' space for youngsters could be created as plans to develop an urban leisure area in the town centre, writes Becky Procter.
The news came during a town centre partnership meeting as members were updated on a multi-million pound project to rebuild and revamp NEW College.
The new campus will take up just a third of its current space and plans have been put in place to create an urban park on the site.
Public consultation is due to take place before any decision is made on the plans.
