CHAWSON residents were left high and dry on Thursday when a water main burst.
The four-inch main flooded Oakham Drive at 2pm and householders were without water until 8pm.
Severn Trent Water had urged families to stock up on supplies because repair work was originally expected to take 33 hours. Forty-five homes were affected.
