I AM trying to trace an old friend of Stan and Elaine Stevenson who came to visit Nelly and Ken Batemen in Worcester 48 years ago.
The Batemans were distant relatives of Stan's family and he managed to persuade Elaine's family to allow them to visit before they were married.
Ken Bateman was a former employee of Worcester Porcelain and attended Pump Street Methodist Church. Stan and Elaine have fond memories of the week they spent with Ken and Nelly and have been thinking of them as they recently celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary this year.
