Inspired Kidderminster Harriers pulled a terrific performance out of the bag just when it was needed to trounce York 4-1.
Their 4-3-3 attacking formation created chances galore in an open, entertaining clash. Dean Bennett turned in a star performance in midfield
Drewe Broughton grabbed a double strike for his first goals of the season, while debutant centre-back Abdou Sall and Ian Foster were also on the scoresheet.
Considering Harriers had only scored six goals in Division Three prior to this match, it certainly came as quite a spectacular but very welcome surprise to most of the low gate of 2,002.
It was their biggest win in the Football League and will hopefully be the start of better things to come when they visit Southend United next Saturday.
Three of the goals came in the second period after York's Lee Nogan had cancelled out Broughton's opener just before half time.
