STUART Brock returns in goal for Kidderminster Harriers tonight when they face York City in a Nationwide League Division Three clash at Aggborough (7.45).

Brock has been suspended for Harriers last three matches after being sent off in the recent home defeat against Swansea City.

His return means Eric Nixon's brief spell at Aggborough comes to an end after his two clean-sheets against Cheltenham Town in the league and Doncaster Rovers in the LDV Vans Trophy were spoiled by Saturday's disappointing 1-0 setback against fellow strugglers Carlisle United at Brunton Park.

Harriers have a couple of slight injury doubts over defenders Adie Smith and Ian Clarkson, but both are expected to play tonight.

Smith continues to be affected by a groin problem while Clarkson has a minor knee problem.

Kidderminster, beaten only once at home in the league this season, go into the match in 19th place and just two points off the bottom of the table.

Aggborough boss Jan Molby is anticipating another tough encounter against a side who have found it far easier to score this season than shot-shy Harriers.

He said: "They are the joint second highest scorers away from home in the Third Division and they have done okay.

"They are a young team, but they have got some good players and mobile, exciting front men in Lee Nogan and Michael Proctor. So it's going to be difficult, but we know that. Even games that we win are tight and right down to the wire.

"Games we've lost have also been tight like at Carlisle where you are in there right to the death."

Harriers assistant manager Gary Barnett said: "The players enjoy playing at home and hopefully the crowd will get behind them as I'm sure they will.

"Hopefully, we will start playing our passing football earlier than we did on Saturday and be braver."

York, three points better off than Molby's men, have Nogan and Richard Cooper doubtful after picking up injuries in Saturday's 2-1 home win over Southend United.

With Darren Edmondson, Graham Potter and John Fielding already sidelined, manager Terry Dolan is sweating on the fitness of midfielder Cooper and Nogan to boost his ranks.

Harriers, meanwhile, have confirmed that they will travel to meet Second Division Chesterfield in the second round of the LDV Vans Trophy on Tuesday, October 30 (7.45pm).
