AN OPEN day will be held at the Aspire Training Centre in Burford, Tenbury Wells, tomorrow to provide information on local learning opportunities.
The open day is part of the Rural Opportunities project, which is working alongside the state-of-the-art Aspire Centre to widen study and training opportunities to people living in the area.
The project offers a combination of tutor supported, on-line and traditional methods of study
"The project brings learning and training opportunities to your doorstep, at times which suit you, from many providers of further and higher education, at surprisingly low cost," said a spokesman.
"It may also assist with the costs of caring for others and with transport costs to get to the Aspire Centre to take advantage of these uniquely flexible learning opportunities."
The Rural Opportunities Project is funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, the Learning and Skills Council and by local colleges and universities.
For more information on the open day, which runs from 10am to 2pm, phone Angela Hunt, project worker Rural Opportunities, on 07968 542694.
