I WAS very surprised to read (Evening News, August 29) that the group consisting of the Environment Agency, Severn Trent and Worcester City Council needs six years before it even considers what steps to take to combat flooding.
Winter is just a couple of months away. In my view, the time to do something about the problem was yesterday.
