MARR'S Barr continues to offer an antidote to autumn blues with a rousing line-up.
Tonight (Friday) Bat Whispers will take centre stage at the Worcester venue, rolling out covers of old soul numbers with three different vocalists, supported by Birmingham-based band D'Hiver. Admission is £5.
Hard on their heels come Parker's Alibi, who will be rolling out a "funksoulgroove kind of blues" tomorrow (Saturday). Tickets are £7.50 on the door, £5 in advance.
A live recording night is hosted Monday, with Musical Makeover and Jamming nights taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
Thursday night will pulsate to the dance beats and slightly bizarre sounds of the Courtesy Group, after which Usama and Nige will be mixing up a storm until 1.30am. Admission is £4 after 9pm.
