FOG twice held up play on the second morning of the Lancome Trophy in Paris today.
After a 30-minute delay at the start only 25 minutes' action was possible before matters worsened again.
Leader and defending champion Retief Goosen, two clear of the field after his opening 64, was still waiting to tee off again with Colin Montgomerie.
The Scot was already 11 adrift following his 75 and probably needed a 67 just to survive the halfway cut.
Three players did not even make the second rounds, Ireland's Eamonn Darcy withdrew after his opening 79 and Australian Wayne Riley and Spaniard Carlos Rodiles after trailing in joint last on 80.
Droitwich's John Bickerton was hoping for another good round after completing a three under par 68, but Hereford's David Park needed to improve on his one over par 72 if he was to beat the cut.
