THE Stroke Association's Malvern Dysphasia Support Service has now been in existence for several months; since it began, people who have speech and language difficulties have been helped by wonderful, caring volunteers.

Many of the volunteers in Worcester have gained valuable work experience and have gone on to work in caring professions, many have joined us following their retirement from full-time employment, whilst many have worked for the Stroke Association whilst their children and husbands were at school and work.

Whatever the reasons, volunteers for the Stroke Association have the following in common - they are friendly, caring individuals with a willingness to help others and with a couple of hours to spare.

If any readers feel that this is them and would like further information about this rewarding voluntary work in Malvern, please phone Sandra on 01905 619115. No previous experience necessary!
