RESULTS of yet another successful fete for Berrow with over £1,270 being raised towards ongoing church funds. A big thank-you to all who supported and helped in any way with preparations, supplying and running stalls and who came and purchased goods on the day.
A successful raffle resulted as follows: flight for two in light aircraft won by choirmaster Les Williams; dinner for two at Duke of York, John Allison (Auctioneer Hollybush); dinner for two at Dormy House Hotel, Broadway, Stephen Turner; whisky, Mary Bevan; sherry, Julia Knott; box of chocolates, Janet Charles.
Please remember our organ recital on Friday, September 28 at 7.30pm by the talented Giles Turner followed by a bring & share supper. Tickets are only £3 and available from 01684 833221 or 01531 650346.
AN appeal (not for money this time) but jam jars and/or pickle jars. Please if you have any will you save them or ring me on 01684 833287 or you can leave them at Birtsmorton or Berrow Church. Thank you.
