THE Wells Players are pleased to announce that their next production will be John Dighton's classic farce The Happiest Days of Your Life. Set in a boy's boarding school shortly after the end of the Second World War. The action revolves around the hilarious efforts of the staff to play host to a girls' school boarded on them by the Ministry of Devacuation. Suddenly, boys who previously lacked a talent for maths, then acquired a keen interest in developing figures! The fun really starts as teachers of both sexes become increasingly frantic in their efforts to conceal the shocking truth from the parents.

The cast includes several favourites, Denise Murray-Mason, Susannah Wetheral and Evan Peach. And the youth section is well represented, as they transform the three R's into a rollicking riotous romp.

This production is directed by Val Greaves, and will be performed at Malvern Wells Village Hall on October 4, 5 & 6. Doors open 7pm for 7.30pm start. Tickets price £3.50 available at the Village Post Office 01684 575616 or on the door.
