FORMER Worcester City campaigner Mark Shail returns to Kidderminster Harriers' line-up for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash at lowly Hartlepool United (3pm).

The central defender is set to take over from Scott Stamps who could revert to his usual left-back spot.

Boss Jan Molby is not expected to make sweeping changes following Tuesday night's 4-0 mauling at Shrewsbury Town, but is hopeful that Dean Bennett will overcome a thigh injury to take a position up-front.

On-loan striker Colin Larkin has only a '50-50' chance of recovering in time from a dead leg while defender Craig Hinton is still ruled out with a groin problem.

Right-back Parfait Medou-Otye, who recently completed a three-match suspension, missed out on Tuesday because of illness but should be available for selection.

Harriers, who have former Hartlepool midfielder Sam Shilton in the ranks, are currently sixth from bottom in the table and have lost all their four away league games this season.

Molby said: "Hartlepool are in a similar situation to what we are by having a disappointing start to the season.

"But obviously the way we played on Tuesday all of a sudden makes a result tomorrow becomes even harder.

"But we'll take a team to make sure we don't lose the game and we'll take things from there."

"Hartlepool didn't have the best of starts last season and then they went on a 23-match unbeaten runs, so they are capable.

"They have brought in some better players this year and they are probably taking time to gel, but at the best of times it's a very difficult place to go to.

"They have brought in Richie Humphreys and Tommy Widdrington and they are obviously players who catch the eye, but I think the biggest thing for Hartlepool is the loss of Tommy Miller who went to Ipswich. I think that is what they are still trying to come to terms with."
