THE final round of the Classic Club Road Racing Champion-ships was held at Cadwell Park in Lincolnshire last weekend.
With three teams still able to win the title, Geoff and Ruth Hands just had to win.
Starting from the third row on the grid, the Campden husband and wife team made a brilliant start and led all the way winning by ten seconds to clinch the championship.
On the Sunday the annual race of the year was held. Starting in pole position on the front row they were hoping for another win.
When the flag dropped to start the race their engine wouldn't start and they were left on the line.
Eventually, they got it going and chased after the pack of outfits. Riding brilliantly they set the fastest lap and eventually finished third.
