ORGANISERS of this year's annual fund-raising musical extravaganza, Music for You, are promising a night to remember at the entertainment-packed event.
Tickets have gone on sale for next month's two-day gala which features performances by Stourport Brass Band, Stourport Choral and Operatic Society, the West Midland Light Orchestra and the Wyre Forest Symphony Orchestra.
The event, which will raise funds for Kemp Hospice, the Cancer Research Campaign and other local and national charities, will conclude with a rousing, traditional-style "Last Night of the Proms'"finale featuring musicians from all four acts.
Richard Woodhead, who is a member of the organising committee, said the event would continue to build on the £100,000 raised over the last 19 years.
The concerts will take place at Kidder-minster Town Hall on Friday, October 5 and Saturday 6, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are available from TH Hunter, Kidderminster, the Kemp Hospice shop, Bewdley, Mr Cleancall's, High Street, Stourport, and, subject to availability, on the door.
