STAFF at Kidderminster Harriers will have to wait until the end of next month to find out whether a bid to renew the club's public entertainments licence is successful.
A meeting of Wyre Forest District Council's licensing and environmental committee on Monday heard the club had failed to supply necessary documents - public liability insurance and a certificate of electrical worthiness.
This led to the bid for the renewal of the Aggborough Suite licence, which expired on March 31, being recommended for refusal - but councillors were told the club was "nearly there" in efforts to supply the documents.
It was agreed the application will now be heard at the next meeting on October 29.
The club withdrew an application for a licence variation to bring the number of people allowed to use the premises from 200 to 199 - to reduce the licence fee - after they failed to produce the required newspaper advertisement relating to the proposed changes.
