Names and money were taken on September 4 for the group meeting at Habberley on October 4, and the half yearly council meeting at Stourport on October 30.
Members were reminded about the Autumn Fayre in the Corn Exchange, and asked to bring items for this to the next meeting. Otherwise items can be delivered to committee members.
Mr Harrison was the guest for the evening, illustrating his talk with slides of Skomer Island, a nature reserve off the Pembroke coast.
There were close-ups of puffins, razorbills, cormorants, and peregrine falcons, plus carpets of wild flowers.
The competition for a bird ornament was won by Freda Tilman.
The annual meeting is on October 2, when there will be a beetle drive.
