I have just returned from a memorial service, held at our township park. Our Mayor read letters, sent to us, from your Mayor and members of your Council.
I don't have words to express our gratitude. Having the support of our friends from across the ocean, is a great help in dealing with this horrible event.
For too long, we have seen these events take place throughout Europe, and though we knew how awful these acts were, we could never understand how you truly felt. Now we can honestly understand the pain you have had to deal with.
We will get through this, and we will come out stronger than before. We will, because we have such a good friend, and strong ally, in England. I would also like to say I was glad to read that one of your own, Neil Ross, survived the ordeal.
Again, thank you for thinking of your Twin City, and thank you to all of England, for your support.
Harry Meeker, Evesham, New Jersey.
