ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet's John Amos was in excellent personal best form again last weekend, recording two in as many days.
Amos clocked 18 minutes 52 seconds at the Tipton 5km race over four laps in Victoria Park.
Nicola Beecroft also managed a best with a time of 23-02.
Amos then turned out in the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon to record 1 hour 26-52 for 126th position out of the 949 finishers.
Other finishers: Andrew Beecroft 308th in 1-37-01, Gordon Sims 461st in 1-44-49.
Leader Amos is now this year's only ever-present in the inter-club league.
Injury forced Lindsay Pulley out - the first race he has missed since the league began in 2000.
Richard Baker recorded 1-50-16 in his 14th consecutive Great North Run to finish inside the first 6,000 of the 40,000-plus runners.
