ATHLETICS: Liz Gould was the first to finish for Worcestershire ladies in the AAA National 10k Road Championships at Cheltenham.
Kidderminster Running Club's Gould clocked 38 minutes 26 seconds for 46th overall in the competition which incorporated the Inter County Championships.
Stourport Athletic Club's Collette Maynard was 65th in 42-59.
In the men's race, Stourport's Matt Vaux-Harvey finished first for the county and 29th overall.
Kidderminster's Steve Smith ran 34-07 for fourth for the county and 118th overall.
Smith was followed home by Tom Kenderdine in 34-32 and Kevin Green, of Stourport, was the next county runner in 133rd in a personal best 34-55.
Worcestershire, managed by Kidderminster's Gary Barnes, were 10th overall.
Also running at Cheltenham was Stourport's Dave Hall who finished 106th in 33:35.
