REHEARSALS have just begun for Worcester Festival Choral Society's next concert on November 17 - William Walton's Belshazzar's Feast and The Twelve, performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
Then there will be the annual performance of Handel's Messiah on December 8 and the cathedral's Joy to the World Christmas concert is on December 15. Next spring, Elgar's Dream of Gerontius will be performed and the following August Worcester hosts the Three Choirs Festival.
"If you would like to join us, come along to a rehearsal in the cathedral chapter house, from 7.30pm to 9.15pm, on a Monday evening - basses and tenors are particularly welcome," said spokesman Jenny Brumhead.
