A WORCESTER group has sent a major supermarket "a shopping list" of requirements for development in St John's.
The wish list came to light at the third St John's Traders' and Residents' Association meeting which was held last night.
Chairman Dennis Ogle said that the list had recently been sent to Sainsbury's and two major compromises were needed.
"We have given them a shopping list of what we would like to see in St John's and the first thing is that the supermarket will come down in size from its 26 thousand square feet to eight to nine thousand square feet, " he said.
"Our second request is that we have a 'little connect superstore', the size of the Sainsbury's under the Lychgate, where people will want to do a quick shop."
Mr Ogle said that another request was that the supermarket was situated on the edge of St John's.
