BEWDLEY finished their Worcestershire League Division One season with a convincing 81-run win over bottom-placed Lye.
The home side, who maintained their place at the top county level, made a sluggish start as Charlie Combes and Paul Beard struggled to put on 55 for the first wicket.
Then Captain Simon Smith launched a devastating assault, crashing 85 runs in 11 overs.
Andy Robinson (28) and Smith (81) were dismissed but Mark Venross hurried the score past 200.
It took Mark Edwards' only 10 balls to wreck Lye's reply as he took the first four wickets.
Mark Hudson (2-37) dismissed a dangerous pair and Edwards (7-34) returned to mop up.
Bewdley 213-7, Lye 132.
