A STUDLEY vicar has spoken out on what he sees as the state of Christianity in England today.
The Rev Richard Deimel feels the 'old-style' church is almost dead and complains it was complacent and arrogant.
Mr Deimel was speaking as Studley Parish Church held a dramatic baptism service for two teenagers in the River Arrow on Sunday.
Sunday's service saw Studley Parish Church and the Church for Christ in Studley come together to baptise Becci Bellamy and Natasha Sinclair.
Both churches have been working closely since the visit of a group of young Americans to the village in June.
