IT was agreed to give a donation to WI House, Worcester, towards the cost of refurbishment. Elaine will hold a coffee morning on Thursday, October 11, at 10.45am to help start this off.
Mr B Tannhill, of Worcester Garden Centre, was the speaker for the evening.
He came equipped with compost, baskets, patio containers, bulbs and plants and proceeded to show members the best way to go about winter hanging baskets and patio containers.
He had numerous ideas and passed on very helpful hints.
After refreshments Betty Wilkes put everyone in teams for a horticultural quiz. The winners won a packet of spring bulbs to share. The next meeting is on October 3 when Mr Gary Farmer will take members on a visit to Uganda.
