QUARTERLY figures for crime rates in Studley between March and August have been released.
Statistics show there were 118 business, retail and vehicle crimes in Studley and Mappleborough Green between March 31 and July 24.
These were:
Burglary (business and residential) - 23
Robberies
(business) - 5
Theft (business) - 21
Criminal damage (business and residential) - 17
Vehicle crime (theft of and from vehicle and damage) - 27
Assault - 10
Common assault - 7
Drugs possession - 8
Two other distraction burglaries were attempted recently but both were thwarted in part due to Studley Neighbourhood Watch's efforts to warn elderly people of the dangers.
