A FURTHER extension has been granted before a final decision is made on a controversial housing development in Alcester.
Bloor Homes wants to develop 400 homes in the town, plans which have been objected to by the town council, district council and residents.
A final decision was supposed to have been delivered by the Home Secretary many weeks ago but yet another delay is taking place.
Bloor Homes has asked that it has an extension until the end of this month, so it can look at PPG 25, a Government paper which deals with land drainage and flood issues.
A district council spokesman confirmed the developers had asked for an extension.
