YOUTHS in the Studley area are being warned to stay away from a disused building which was recently broken into.
And Alcester sector police also believe youngsters may be responsible for causing a fire in the building last week.
The disused Texaco building, on a site opposite the Duke of Marlborough pub, has been empty for about two years.
On Friday, September 7, police were called to the site following reports it had been broken into by youths.
Officers who were called to deal with the break-in warned the youngsters they found in the building not to come back.
But just two days later, police and Studley and Redditch firefighters were called out to the building after a back room was set alight.
Firefighters had to force their way in to gain entry.
Although there was some damage to the back room, the rest of the building was undamaged.
This comes just weeks after Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and police urged parents to report their children if they believed they were involved in arson.
And police also warned youths faced prosecution if they were caught starting a blaze.
