I AM sure that I am not alone in wondering if the world has gone mad. We used to have a country of which we could be proud. Now we no longer have a country of our own.

We, the people, no longer have a say in how this country is governed or the policies that are set in it.

We have to abide by the rules of some person in another country who decides how we have to live.

As a taxpayer I think the time has come for the people of this country to unite and tell this government that we have had enough.

Why should we have to go out to work to earn a living and pay taxes, just so that we can subsidise others?

My taxes should to towards things that will benefit myself and my family - National Health Service/roads/public places and schools.

Claiming

I do not feel that I should have to go out to work and earn money which will go to scroungers/illegal immigrants/dole cheats/people hiding under the guise of being disabled and anyone else who thinks it is their right to sit at home, have large families and expect others to pay for them.Britain cannot find enough people to fill job vacancies. Surely there are plenty of people who could work.

Yet many feel they can get more money by staying at home claiming all sorts of benefits.

I do not mind helping those who are in real need of aid. I do object to having to earn money to pay out for people who do not warrant it.

I feel that we must alter our laws and lifestyle to preserve our own identity and look to helping our own people first.

If people from other countries wish to come here, then let them prove that they can be an asset to this country, earn money and pay taxes.
