A FECKENHAM teenager will be departing with three college friends for a trip of lifetime.
Fourteen-year-old Lara Fisher, of Noah's Green, will be accompanied by fellow pupils from Malvern College as they take a journey up the River Amazon in Brazil.
They have been chosen by the former director of Kew Gardens, Sir Ghillean Prance, a former Malvern College pupil, who will teach them about the tropical plants of the Amazon basin.
The project is part of a Japanese documentary programme called Superteachers, in which people recognised by the world for outstanding achievement are invited to give children a once-in-a-lifetime lesson anywhere they choose in the world.
