Alcester finished their Heart of England League home programme with a flourish, caning basement boys Stoke Prior with a 94-shot win.
Renny Bannister led the way with an excellent 21-2, whilst Chris Hollins (21-3), Dave Hovell (21-4), Peter Barber (21-6) and John Alderson and Cath Osborne (both 21-8) added to the rout.
Alcester compounded the win with a 57-shot win in the return leg to leave them the chance of runners-up spot in the league.
