AFTER the withdrawal of Bromsgrove and the postponement of the archery to an uncertain date, the Worcestershire Games took another turn for the worse at the weekend.
The County games, postponed from spring because of foot and mouth, have seen only two of the four planned events held so far.
At the weekend the squash was cancelled at the eleventh hour because Wychavon could not raise a team and Redditch refused to travel to Stourport for one match, against hosts Wyre Forest.
Wyre Forest and Redditch shared the points.
Droitwich Lawn Tennis Club hosts the Tennis on Saturday (10am start) with the men's and women's volleyball at the Glades Leisure Centre, Kidderminster (12.30pm start).
