TOWN made something of a meal of finally securing the points in a game they dominated from the start.
Late goals from the stylish Matthew Mogg and Darren Turk finally dispatched a combative New Olympic side.
Town could afford the luxury of a penalty miss in the first minute and looked as though they were going to overwhelm their Black Country neighbours.
A telling ball from Mogg was fired home to the keeper's left by man of the match Scott Gaffney in the tenth minute. Once Mogg had secured the points the nerves went out of Town's game and they relaxed to play some sweet passing football to increase their lead.
Andrew Harries impressed in his first game for over two years for Town, making some angled runs and crunching tackles. Lee Crawford had a solid game at the back in his first senior game for Town.
