CHAWSON turned in a woeful performance and deservedly lost.
Old Boys got off to a flying start when Craig Bryant was upended in the box.
Mark Seager made no mistake from the spot.
Old Boys then came under increasing pressure from the visitors who drew level on 20 minutes. Southside then went on to take the lead after 35 minutes.
After the break Southside increased their lead when the referee missed a clear offside.
The visitors continued to dominate but couldn't find a way past the agile John Lakin in goal.
With time running out the Old Boys clawed their way back into the game, with man of the match Seager notching his second goal.
The visitors then wrapped the game up, scoring in the last few minutes.
