I WOULD like to express my thanks to all the societies and organisations which took part in the Access Arts Day organised by Redditch Arts Council in the Kingfisher Centre on Saturday, September 8.
I hope visitors to the event and passing shoppers enjoyed the activities and were inspired to either participate in the arts or support the many excellent societies in the borough.
A thank you to Kingfisher Centre staff for allowing the event to take place and assisting on the day.
If you require further information on any of the activities displayed, publicity officer Malcolm Hall on 523985, will be pleased to give you contact details.
The event was a springboard for our planned Community Arts Festival Event 2002, due to take place in June 2002. We intend CAFE 2002 to be an all-inclusive live celebration of all art forms featuring local amateurs and professionals.
If you would like more details, call Roy Thompson on 68050 or Malcolm Hall.
Thanks again for your support.
