THE future of the town's Lido Pool was due to be discussed last night.
A special meeting of Wych-avon District Council's community partnership committee was planned for 7.30pm and the salty attraction's fate was expected to be unveiled.
Wychavon has revealed it is considering forming a joint company with a private sector partner.
The authority closed the site this year, claiming it would be unwise to spend £100,000 on repairs while negotiations with a private company continue.
The meeting was not expected to be open to the press or public but Droitwich: Save Our Lido Today (SALT) members planned to take their crusade to the meeting at the Civic Centre, in Pershore.
SALT wants to create a charitable trust to run the pool, in the Lido Park.
