WE in the West have shown ourselves to be inept when it comes to protecting ourselves from conflict in any shape or form.

We seem to make conflict and then to be unable to break it. And there lies the clue to the cure, for to try to match terror with terror is futile.

Those twin towers in New York were the hub of globalisation. Add a spicing of religious mania, and we are off to the killing fields. What was it that emanated from those twin towers that sucked in their own destruction?

It was credit. Getting on towards one hundred trillion dollars of credit was a global debt too far. That is what globalisation is. A global economy using debt as its currency.

It is a bomb that grows by feeding itself and will explode one day with the loss of this planet.
