NORTH Midlands Under 19s lost 10-5 to Middlesex in their annual rugby union match at Finstall Park, Bromsgrove.
North Midlands had territorial supremacy for much of an entertaining game but conceded two tries before replying with a try from Bromsgrove win-ger David Wellavize.
John Easion, a lock from Kidderminster Carolians, also impressed in a solid team performance.
The U19s' next match is against Warwick-shire at Coundon Road, Coventry on October 3.
