A YOUTH centre in Cleobury Mortimer is celebrating after receiving a £10,000 boost towards training development.
The cash, which has been handed over by Severn Trent Charitable Contributions Committee to the Pioneer Youth Centre, will be used to help fund a trainer for personal, social and environmental development.
The trainer will build up a team of volunteer and freelance trainers who will provide educational courses and experiences for young people aged from 10 to their late teens.
The centre provides a range of activities and facilities including abseiling and an obstacle course designed to develop personal and team skills for able-bodied youngsters as well as those with special needs.
