ARCHIVISTS and local history buffs will be able to delve through miles of historic documents following the re-opening of the county's record office after a five-month closure.
Documents were transferred after the record office at St Helen's Church, Worcester, was shut in April to the new Worcestershire Library and History Centre in Trinity Street.
This will be developed by the county council over the next three years to become a major archive and county resource.
The archives include William Shakesp-eare's marriage bond and many other items of historical importance dating back to 1140.
