WYRE Forest is to share in a £70,000 windfall to help repair the damage caused by foot and mouth to county tourism.
The cash from the regional development agency Advantage West Midlands will be used to subsidise advertising,produce a county guide and enhance an official website promoting the area as a year-round destination.
Any attractions or accommodation providers interested in finding out more about the subsidised advertising are invited to contact the tourism officer at the district council.
Meanwhile, this weekend sees a Michaelmas craft fair in aid of a Cleobury North farm badly affected by foot and mouth and serious roadworks.
The fair will be held on Sunday at Cleobury North village hall.
A large selection of crafts made in the area will be for sale.
Proceeds from admission will be donated to Ray's Farm Country Matters "Animal Feed".
