A 10-YEAR-OLD boy and his family were held at gunpoint after three men forced their way into a Kidderminster home.

Police say the men are being linked to two other robberies in the Midlands in the past week.

The robbery happened around 9.35pm on Friday, September 14, in Roden Avenue.

Three black men broke into the home and demanded the keys to the family car, which had been parked outside.

They also demanded other items, including a lap-top computer.

The car, a black VW Golf V5, registration Y944 HUY, has been recovered.

One of the men is 5ft 11in tall and of medium build. He wore a balaclava over his face, a black windcheater and dark trousers. He was also wielding a black handgun.

The second man is described as 5ft 4in. He wore a black fleece and had a blue bandana over his face. He was carrying a knife,

The third man is 5ft 8in tall, wore a black jacket and also carried a knife.

The robbery has been linked to a similar attack in Hagley on Friday, August 24, and in Cofton Hackett, near Rubery, on Wednesday, September 12.

The men are also believed to be responsible for an assault in Hurcott Road, Kidderminster, around 9.30pm on Friday, September 14.
