KIDDERMINSTER Harriers defender Parfait Medou-Otye completes a three-matchban today with a stern message from Jan Molby, writes CHRIS OLDNALL.

The Aggborough chief has told him to steer clear of trouble once he returns to action which could be on Tuesday when Harriers face Shrewsbury Town in a Nationwide League Division Three clash at the Gay Meadow.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was handed the ban after being sent off in Kidderminster's 2-0 defeat at Darlington on Saturday, August 18.

Molby said: "Parfait strongly needs to think about how he plays. You can't have someone here who is going to be sent off every third game.

"He is a strong individual who has a physical edge to his game and it's up to him to tailor it so he doesn't get in trouble with referees. We can't afford to have players here who are going to be out of contention like that."

Medou-Otye's suspension has forced him to miss the last two games against Mansfield Town and Rochdale plus today's clash with Plymouth.

He now hopes to regain his right-back spot for Tuesday's trip to high-riding Shrewsbury Town which Molby believes will be a tough test.

He said: "They have obviously had a great start with four wins and a draw. I know their manager Kevin Racliffe has made some good signings in the summer.

"He's obviously got a good crop of youngsters who have come through their ranks which gives you a massive boost. So they have got a nice blend of experience and youngsters.

"They look a good team and I think in Luke Rodgers they have a very good player. A few clubs are looking at him and he's the one that makes things happen for them.

"Then, of course, they have got Nigel Jemson. He's an experienced front man. He's a clever player and has been scoring goals."
