MALVERN golfer Greg Anthony made light of the blustery conditions at Bransford Golf Club last Sunday to claim the 36-hole 9th Club Championship for the third year on the trot.
Two-handicapper Greg, aged 19, of Greenhill Drive, controlled his game well to return scores of 76 in the morning and 77 for the afternoon round for a total of 153, eight shots clear of runner-up Andy Lammas (H6) with 161 (82 and 79) who was one shot ahead of 3rd placed Gordon Jack (H6) who finished on 162 (79 and 83).
A jubilant Greg said: "It was tough playing conditions and I had to keep my concentration but I am obviously very happy to win it for the third time and would like to thank my coach Lisa Jones for all the hard work she has put in to improve my game."
